Our History

OptiFreight® Logistics was established in 2003 by Cardinal Health, a Fortune 17 healthcare services company, to help hospital customers more effectively manage their supply chain and control their small package direct freight costs. On July 30, 2010, Cardinal Health acquired Healthcare Logistics Solutions (HLS) MedFreight®, a privately-held freight management company. Through this acquisition, OptiFreight® Logistics is a able to provide more value and an even greater level of service to our customers.
